Once upon a time, you were a little girl with BIG dreams that you promised you promised you´d make real some day. Don’t disappoint yourself.
Looking back, I can’t help but wonder and ahh in the faith she had for me, her future self. She could see us raising wolfs, running five-star restaurants, living in a mansion, being surrounded by animals and a loving family, all while exploring the world with her camera. She was my Jackie, my Jackie of all trades.
If she could see me now, what would she think of me and the life I have created for myself?
Most likely she would look at me, then look at the dreams she and the past versions of me had for me and say: “You have some pretty big shoes to fill Mica!”
And she would be right.
I have lived my life as a caterpillar, for the longest time I locked myself – my true self – inside of a cocoon. But by keeping her locked away, by keeping the world away from her, I also kept her away from the world and the blessings she was meant to provide it with. I started to view her in a different light, what recourses would she need to thrive and fly?

They are not bad people, and I can still say “HI!” I just don’t need that kind of influence on a daily basis.
